I suugest to rename this thread to "Red Ketchup´s and Jahrome´s little internet fight thread".
This would be better for all the other users of this forum. Because then we all are aware and can skip or ignore this boring fight.

Have you really actually read many of the threads on the site? Many of them have basic information..like help me with my MIDI...I am burned out...I need more memory....I need a bigger hard drive...I just bought the MPC 2500

So sit back and relax and continue reading this thread because there is all sorts of information if you actually take the time to absorb it. You will learn to seperate fact from fiction. You see....these fellas made a claim about how unstable their MPC is. So I challenge them to a test. But as you can read...they wussied out. Its not that I am trying to say the MPC 2500 is all that and a bag of chips. It has issues. As always, I try to get to the root of problems so the information can get to the right people..thus, we get a better OS.

So take the time to read how to submit a bug to JJ. Programmers need detailed info to produce a problem. Just saying that "my timing is off' and leaving it at that is silly. I doubt those two actually use their MPCs.


So...this pseudo-intellectual will continue to do what he do.....problem...then click on STOP WATCHING THREAD

Fellaz...I have no issues with you. But if you really have a problem with the MPCs MIDI (and you need me to teach you how to edit in your DAW)...lets help eachother...so we can get the best OS. I don't give a damn if Akai or JJ does the OS.

Send me your own groove....I know Enlish is not your first language. But have you ever heard the the phrase 'put up or shut up'? That is a direct challenge to you....to back up your previous claims. You have yet to do that.

Your problem is that you probably have never used an MPC or other hardware sequencer before. And you want your awesome drum programming to sound as if it was played with real drums. So here is another tip. Stop using the MPC. Mic your drum set..play and record your drums live into your DAW. Then use the groove-replacement features and other similar DAW editing tools to replace certain elements in the recorded drum tracks with samples instead. Now you have your perfecty grooved drum track without your MPC fluking things up.
