Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

As you should know, a particular pad (note) can mute two other pads (notes). This can be quite limiting if your chopping is complex. Now normally I assign the same sound to two different pads to work around this, however this can be a pain in the ass as you then have to assign additional note mutes... Have any of you figured out an easy way to organize your note mutes?

u can work out a system if u know math...

when u asign a sample to play another sample, u have 2 more mute asigins. just that that sound is a "nosound" sound.

I know its a pain, they sound fix it in some update.

This sounds workable, I'll try it out! Thanks.
