MPC1000 most wanted features.

on my wish list:
- an ENV for pitch
- Sync on/off for the LFOs
- FX-parameters adjustable via Q-links

currently in chop mode when you zoom in while end of sample is selected it still shows the start zoomed in i would like to see the end when i have the end selected i know i can just go to the next chop and change the end of say chop 2 from start of 3 but its just hastle to change the the chop just to change the end

Oh, yeah I forgot. I'd also like to see bank select (MSB/LSB) on the main screen for sequencing external synths. It was mentioned earlier in this thread but I'd like to bring it to attention again because I think this is an important feature that would make sequencing other synths easier--a heck of a lot easier than inserting CC0-CC32 controller values at the beginning of every track!!!!

If it's not there already, JJ should implement it just like on my 4000. On the 4k, you go to the program number field and press the "window" button and a bank select window would pop up with a "MSB" field, a "LSB" field, and a program number field. There's also a bank select ON/OFF selection field.

Oh, That's great than. The MPC1000 is now a valuable indispensible tool. No more need for computer sequencing in a portable studio now!!!!!!!

Please add a setting in each individual tracks can be different lengths within a program.

This would mean you could have a 2 bar beat loop, 8 bar melody loop, 8 bar alternate loop (tracks) and then all loop relative to the master program length. Just like the way the yamaha rs7000 works or even ableton.

PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU... This is really a deal breaker for the akai. I cant stress how useful this would be!!!

too CPU intensive. you'll have to stick to ableton or acid for this - they will always do it miles faster, miles smoother.

agreed about the realtime timestretch thing - unless it was an APPLIED FEATURE in TRIM EDIT mode (alongside reverse, etc) it would be way too processor heavy.

In trim mode when editing samples...I don't know about you...but sometimes I have really long samples and when I adjust the end points I don't want to sit there and listen to the whole sample everytime I adjust the end point and want to check it.

If there was some way to fast forward and rewind through samples or to use the jog wheel to change values on a play start point. That would save me a lot of time on occasions.

Swing per track visibile !!!!!!!!!!!!
now you always have the problem that you dont know what the swing on each track is because it only shows the last swing you used on whatever track. This is definately something that should be in there from the beginnin but never was!
