Does anyone know what keyboards Little John uses on his songs? I have a triton keyboard and a xv 5050 sound module but still can't seem to produce the same type of sounds.

From the sounds of what I've heard he uses an 808 kit and sounds like a sawtooth wave for the synth. He uses the same sounds over and over and beats them to death. He's a lazy azz nerd producer who has the south on lock with hot although uninspiring beats. I liked him at first too, what a shame.

Lil Jon uses a Studio Electronics SE-1,Emu Orbit,Proteus 2000,Vintage Pro,Roland Jv-2080,Xv-5080,Korg Triton, and an Akai Mpc 3000. I've seen it myself down at PatchWerk studios in ATL. Dude wasnt even using drums in the 3000 he was using drums out of his modules. The 3000 was just a sequencer.

I don't hate him. I appreciate the hot beats but they are all starting to sound the same, I can guess he's more talented than that though.

From a creative standpoint he's being lazy. It's too easy to create dam near the same thing over and over.

From a money point of view he's doing dam good cause he's generating loot to pay his bills and live a lavish lifestyle.

From my own point of view, I place creativity in high regard over money. Not to say that I don't want money though.
