im sorry to say this, and i will get shit for this, but im sooo tired of reading post about bugs, new os's, PADS and stuff, even befor akai released os 2.1 it was like peeps were waiting for this to make music.... man who cares about the pads, if u piece is working, and basic functions like sample, chop, save, load is working, you dont need all that superficial bullshit... make music thats all that matters, whether it be choppin off vynil, casettes, mp3's etc, dont let technology stop you from makin what really matters here MUSIC! **** them pads just bang on them who cares if they dont feel like the 2000xl's or 3000's, damn yall, its like most of yall got mpc's like its the shit to have right now.. its not a car you have to ''pimp out'' its a god damn sampler for god's sake... if you want pads and an all included machine, get the m-audio pad thingy, a midi keyboard and work with reason, fruity loops, and shit, way easier, less hassle, and it cost less than a G... anyways, thats just my rant for 2nite, maybe im overreacting, but damn... some peeps sound like they spend more time on the forum than on their mps.. HIP TO THE F***IN HOP, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!. **** the black kit, **** them pads FOCUS YALL! peace...

yo homie people want the most out of thier machine simple and plain i dont know about you but i hate almost breaking my finger on a dead pad mofos would be complaining about em if there wasnt a problem when trying to make music with a dead pad u must not have one cuz its annoying having to rearange ur samples around your working pads ...... and yo i make atleast one beat every single night but yes i am intrested in what else can be done with the MPC and how to fix the pads and as far as pimping it out... to some people thier mpc is as importanat as a car so they wana make it look nice thats thier prefrence if i had the time id do it to but i dont id rather spend that making beats but i feel what u say but ..... why u worried about what onthers wana do if u feel that way cuz i could be like i tired of people putting dumb post like this coulda used that time to make a beat.... its ur time ur money ur machine ur poragative peace

no bugs = no problems (woundn't that be f%^*n great!)

I think if someone needs to know a workaround solution for something important like say, saving their beats properly, then they should be able to find out from someone.....

do you work for Akai???
