intros and outros

I ahve got the main hook of the beat and riff going but finding the intro or build up hard, any tips or tricks to get me started?

My tune I am doing is a piano riff with bit of bass and drums, pretty simple riff really but not sure how it should start.

You dont have to get permission to post that. This is a public forum so u can pretty much do what u need but only to an certain extent(eg. nothing crazy,violates rules, ect..) Post it if u like. Just go to the Music Section and peeps will prolly give u feedback.

Nice one!! thanks, know any good sites to upload tunes onto? I have seen one called esnips is that what peeps tend to use or does it not matter?

It actually doesnt matter cause its an preference thing but the top two choices are usually soundclick and myspace.
