Does anyone know if Tap Tempo reacts to the TC?

When I'm pressing the Tap Tempo I want to know if the TC effects. So whether turning off TC will give me a more acurate Tap.

That's a good question.

BTW does a higher tap average work better?? I would think so

why would you think that tap tempo reacts to the TC?

Upright.. yes, a higher tap average works better. the average tempo of 8 taps would be more accurate than the average of any 2 out of those 8.

i dont know. :? I thought that the tc might round your taps up / down to the nearest 1/16th 1/8th whatever...

i didnt think it would - just curious.

i think my tapping is just a bit whack.

if they rounded your taps to match a quantized tempo, that would kinda negate the purpose of the tap tempo, don't ya think?

that wouldn't be a very effective tempo reader.
