MPC WITH MIDI KEYBOARD

Im having trouble using my usb midi keyboard with my mpc... i hooked the midi out from keyboard into midi in of mpc and i should be hearing the mpc pads but im not hearing anything.... is there a setting i need to change or something?

You're using a controller to trigger the mpc? not to be a critic, but doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of buying an mpc? unless you have other modules hooked up to the mpc, is that the case? If so..

Controller Out > MPC In
MPC Out > Sound Module

In your sequence,
- select the track, select drm, select the program... trigger or play with pads

- select the track, select midi, select the No., select the patch number, select the midi channel that the module is connected to... trigger or play with pads

not necessarily; you could have a multi-sampled instrument program that'd be quite hard playing chords from just the pads alone.
