How do you sample dialogue on a movie

You need a movie player with a "line out" ....connect your line out of the movie player to the line in of your MPC and sample away...

Or...get Cool Edit Pro 2.0 software and there you have option "extract audio from video".All you need is the dvd or cd drive in your pc,but that's basic stuff so I suppose u've already got it :)

lol yeah cheers i will try both i dont have an mpc as such but an mpd 24 so i will use the software route thanks to the both of you though you have helped :)

Cool Edit Pro is now called Adobe Audition, but yes, it can do what harlej described.

I drag and drop the movie file into Vegas and do what I gotta do from there.

All these suggestions work though.

Try this site http://www.moviewavs.com/, theres loads of movie dialog, all in wav file so itl go straight into you MPC
