i set mine up to work with FL and Cubase and i have real time control of all my knobs and faders..

i dont think it'll work right out of the box, you have to set it all up.. what i dont like is the documentation.. i think it couldve been a bit more descriptive on how to set things up..

How do you even set it up? The only thing that will work for me is the pads & the K1 knob (controls the master volume). The documentation sucks and Logic/Battery isn't helping much either.

MPD 16 was garbage.... Too many USB issues even after the fix....

The screen and the knobs though don't do anything though for me, I've installed everything and the pads play, but the LCD screen won't show the Program and the Knobs can't control anything in Battery. Any reason for this?

first of all 16 levels only deals with velocity on this device.

second, in order for the knobs to work you will have to get a hold of the cc address in battery to mess with things like filter and such or you can read the manual for battery and find out if they have a midi learn feature.

Battery has 6 modulation controls but allows for 8 different MIDI CC's. They can be routed in the lower left of the screen. They come preset to MIDI CC 0 - 7.
The problem with Battery is it doesn't come with a standard note map or controller map. You'll have to customize each of your kits.

i got mine today but am having some issues setting it up. if anyone can give me any help it would be greatly appreciated.

i just wanna be able to assign my knobs and faders, but whilst i'm getting a signal in Cubase when i move a fader, the actual fader on screen just sits there
