Loading more than 1 program for a seq?

i tried everything, even searched the forum...but every time i try to load a new program it changes the sounds in my seq to the sounds on the program i just loaded....how do i load a new program with out it changing the sounds in my seq to the program i just loaded? this is what im doing....i load one drumkit program get the sounds i want to use, then i load another program to add more sounds to the seq i just made...but every time i load a new program it changes my sounds to the program i just loaded.

some one please help me!!

you have to select each program for each track. meaning, seq 1, track 1, pgm 1,

seq 1 track 2, pgm 2 and so forth
you can only have one program per track

i tried to do it that way, made track 1 loaded the program, then i went to track 2 loaded the program and pressed play and track 1 was playing the sounds from the program i just loaded....any more suggestions?

do this:

load 2 programs that are mapped identical, but with different samples. for example, kick on pad 1, snare on pad 2, hat on pad 3.

using program 1 do the following:
record a kick pattern on track 1
a snare pattern on track 2
a hi hat pattern on track 3

now that it is playing, go to track 1 which should have the program 1 kick playing, change it to program 2. you should hear the kick change but the snare and hat stay the same. you can do this on the other 2 tracks as well. if you load 10 programs, you can alternate all of the tracks with all of the programs. i hope that helped.

also, if you change it from drum1 to drum2 on a new track before you load the 2nd program it wont bump program 1...
