Sample disappears?

K guys, so here is my dilemma, and any adivice would be appreciated. I copped a sample and broke it down into 16 parts. Then I 16 keyed it, and recorded a part with it. After that, I took a different part of the original sample, keyed it up, and recorded. It loops fine, but as soon as I stop then restart, or try to record, it's not there. Can you only have one active sample off of each file? Thanks.

this may be a stupid question but, did you change the 'track' before you tried to add/record something else?

Like did i accidentally record over it? No man, I use a seperate track for everything.
