Hi, I would some help too...'cause I would to know what differences between all the parameters are good to timestretch. Because there is the mal vox, chorus, etc...And when I change I thing I didn't listen the difference.

Timestretching creates a processed sample. You need to assign that sample to a pad.

@Eponim read the manual it's plain and simple there are three different sections for each the manal will explain better how it is .
trust me that was one of the fist things i used when i started 6yrs ago

don't strecht over 15-20 pour cent of the original sample,if u wanna have a

A piece of sampled audio , as you know, is made up of tiny bits of information. When you time stretch the samples that make up the sound have to be spaced out to give you the new length. But that will leave gaps of silence between adjacent samples. And this will be heard as distortion if you play back the sample.
The time stretch process works out what kind of samples needed to be inserted into the gaps. The basic way of doing this is to take an average value between the sample that are either side of the gap your trying to fill. This is called interpolation.
Obviously this process gets harder as you stretch the sample more. One way of helping the process is to give it some idea of what kind of sound it's stretching.
The different settings on the MPC are like basic mathematical models of what you are trying to stretch. You mightn't hear too much of a difference when you're stretching a little bit. But if you stretch the sample more than ,say, 30% of its original length you will hear the difference.

Say you are sampling something that was played live, like Rock or classical. Since it was played by a human, the tempo throughout the song is never going to be exactly the same at all parts of the song. So say you sample something that goes for two bars. It may stay on beat for the first bar or bar and a half, but either speed up or slow down suddenly and make for a crappy loop. Then you just cut off the offbeat part, make it into it's own sound and timestretch it (either speed it up or slow it down) to be perfectly on beat like the first part of the sample. It's basically so you can speed up samples without changing the pitch/key!
