Hey, I was thinking about getting myself a MPC but have no idea what one, ive read the other topics on comparisons, but have no idea what there saying.

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated :)

think of what music you want to make, how you want it to sound, how much money you have, do you want to make live performances, do you want to have it portable or stuck in the studio, do you want to work with the computer too and a lot of other questions.. then narrow it to 2 to 3 mpcs and ask again..

Even shorter, figure out the functionality of each mpc, and get the one that fits your vision, maybe get the next mpc better than your vision for upgrade/production growth purposes.

all MPCs do pretty much the same sh*t. I would suggest the 1000

Thanks, Just making beats no live performences preferably something i could connect to the pc. Doesnt have to be portable but not something huge the MPC2000XL looks dope..
