I have an XL, but its not worth gathering up if you already got a 2500.

The 2500 is more advanced, whereas with the XL is like a step backwards.

also u gotta consider how good the mpc 2000 is hooked up, cuz its very limited untill you pimp it out. check out the sampling time, how many outs, see if the fx card is installed.

True the 2000XL would be a step back from the 2500. But if you could get it cheap why not both one to use on the road or another practice room. However I`m an ex-2XL user and I still got love for it.

yo, after using a 1k and then using a 2kxl, the first thing I realized is the loading and saving time difference. I actually had to sit back to let samples load. The 2kxl is dope but I would stay with the 2500.

its crazy that you consider buying another mpc without even using the first one yet... im guessing your more into gear than making music? you got the dopest mpc (besides the 4000), go and make beats dammit!

ehh...depending on what your trying to do with the mpc.imo the 2500 is to buggy imo

i'm actually getting a new xl with the memory upgrade and 8 outs card for my 2500 this wendsday.

the stability of the machine is a must for me and in my experience the xl mcd is just way more stable....all the functions work...and it just feels better.

BTW 2500 comes with 8 outs already installed...

have no problems with myh 2500. or no bug has stopped me from making music on it.
Get to know your 2500 first then make choices on what else you may want/need in your setup...Personally I'd rather invest money in modules or something that you really need.
