fading in a track

i have an mpc1000. i have no mixers. is there anyway to fade in, say, a snare track over several bars while keeping everything else at the same volume?

try turning off full volume for the snare and do it live. Or resample it and adjust the volumes of the different snares in the mixer.

CC7 controls your midi volume.....I don't know if you have Q--link or something similar on the 1000 but thats your answer. Whatever fader you got or even a mod wheel on a keyboard can be assigned to this.....
