lost tracks but its still there

if this makes any sense at all please help if not let me repeat myself to simplicity..ok so i ran out of voices on my mpc1000 and then the track stop playing. ok so i deleted an unecessary track that was mostly ambience and now i cant get any sound at all.. so i saved and then restarted my mpc usually this is the fix to the problem.. but no ,now it just wont play at all nor will it show lights that theres any activity goin on in the tracks with stuff in em...i can go into the step editor and see the mpc is playn the song but theres no sound.. any body know how to fix this?

any ideas anyone? the funny part about this is that i can add more parts and the new parts can be heard but the old parts cant.. whats goin on with my mpc??

so we have all these mpc users and no one has ever come across this bug? remember its not that i ran out of voices becausxe because i can still add more to the invisivle track..my track is still there its just that it wont play but i can add more new parts.. this is not a velocity question its not a cutoff question with filters its a wtf just happend question.. do u guys by not repolying mean to tell me with no words but by not replying that i am the only one here out of the 4 years that the mpc1000 has been in the market that i the only one in this world have found a new bug?

Make sure that when you load it back up it is reloading with the kit you want. For some reason, sometimes mine changes them back to the default because I don't have any one kit set to auto load. Just an idea...

nope thats not it ..i always autoload and i know there the same kits im only using 3 and there completely filled... ya im convinced this is a brand new bug no ones ever seen before..

i have the same problem, too. and i not found any solution about this.

the pattern no sound, the notes there are in the step edit, the pads sounds too, but when play the pattern no sounds anything.

what OS do you have loaded ? lets start there.

yes, i copy this sequenze to other sequence and copy (track to track)
a other sequence, but no play sounds too.

save the all project, turn off the mpc, load all project and go to sequence
y no play sounds, but the notes are on a tracks ()

i've had this happen. a real pain. it happens when you use MOVE in step edit. always messes me up.

nym thats exactly what i did i moved a piece and shit went dead.. this has happened before.. as for the question of what os im using im using 2.1 by akai. so theres no fix for this?? at all?? man can i patent this bug with the naugism effect:)

nope, no fix i always hated that. just don't use the move function. it's a real pain in the ass. i was one of the ones whining the hardest about a "move" function instead of copy, delete and paste, and then when they implemented it, it funked everything up. rediculous.

naugie just come back to 4.xx, haha patched phrase is just not worth all the nonsense you're putting up with right now...
