Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i have a usb zip drive I save sound files onto.
and a scsi zip drive to load and save on my mpc.
could this be why my akai can't read them ?

the scsi zip drive I got off ebay is model Z100S2 ( if that helps )

and the other drive is a Z100USB

ive gotten my mpc to read .snd files from regular floppys

but it won't recognise the zip

Format the zip on pc w/ fat16 maybe. Then try and read it on 2k.

and save WAV fikes on your pc so your mpc can read it., thats the only i can get mine to rread files i work on inn the comp.

and make sure the wav are 16 bit 44khz.
