1000 to Pro Tools

Hey guys

Just got my MPC, trying to connect it up and i gots a few questions if anyone cares to help me out.

1. how do i get it ready for sampling (using LE 7 and don't know how to make it appear)

2. Can i sample through audio in and usb (not at the same time)

3. I'm using an mbox that doesn't have a usb input. If i plug the MPC straight into my computer via usb will it work?

you should start by reading the manual. each of those ?s are easily answered by refering to the manual.

Alright my man, tell me exactly what you're trying to do with the MP and Pro Tools. I myself run an MP 1000 with PT 7, so anything you're trying to do with the two, i should be able to help you. I hate when ignorance comes onto your post and says, "read the manual." That's about that dumbest answer you can give a person seeking help that obviously doesn't know what's going on. I myself have read the manual on every piece of eqipment i own and still have walked away just as clueless as i was before i picked up the manual in some cases, they're not always clear with certain things. But get used to that, there's a lot of that stupidity around here. But anyway, tell me exactly what you're trying to do and i'll help you the best way i know how...

Dude... Just settle down, it was only a question, right? Who would waste their time writing a post like that if they ain't answering a question? I'm new to this stuff, clearly you're not. So if you're not gunna say anything helpful, don't bother. And Kingace is right, dude. To an audio simpleton like me, things aren't always self explanetary when you read the manual. Which is why writing things like 'read the manual' are pretty unhelpful.

The whole MPC superiority thing you got going on is weird man...
