hello,
sometimes when i'm sampling audio a digital clipping/crunching noise sound comes out of nowhere and gets recorded as part of the sample.
i've checked my sound levels and i'm not overdriving the input.
this same noise also sometimes appears when i am copying a sample in trim mode.
the copy will have this same noise embedded in it, and sometimes it's even possible to see it in the waveform.
this also happens when i make a selection of a sample and create a new sample from it.
has anybody experienced this?
any ideas?
is my machine on its deathbed?
i believe it might happen more often when the memory is holding a fair amount of samples, tho i can't be sure.
any help guys would be great, i'm freaking out at the thought of putting my mpc to rest and buying a new one : (
cheers,
Charlie.
