yesterday we made some scratches on a beat and used direct recording to do that. firstly, i couldn't use my monitors so i did that with my headphones connected to the mpc.

the first thing which is not useful is that you can't monitor the sound except when you press rec/overdud+play.

secondly, when you think the recorded sound is not good, it's still kept in memory and it could be nice if it was deleted pressing undo.

and the worse in my opinion, when all was recorded it was not played in mode song so we had to create a new program and manually add that samples.

what do you think guys?

i have the same troubles.

i think it would also be REALLY nice if in overdub you could just overdub your audiotrack just like with midi.

but i dont know if this is possible.

anyway that was my addition to the story.
