MPC 2000XL does not reconize CF card reader HELP!

I bought the same cf reader evrybody on here has, I have the 1.14 version on my MP, but I cant update the software because my floppy is not working & it wont reconize my Cf reader....what can I do?

try getting a zip drive and doing it that way, or reconnecting the floppy and loading the update that way.
