Mike194 - your set-up looks nice and clean. I'm definately feelin it. How are you liking that Project Mix? I got a friend who works at Guitar Center tellin me to trade in my FirePod for that. He says i can prolly get it for around $800. What program do you run with it?

I would say, stick with your Firepod and get a Mackie Control Universal. The Firepod has better pre's and the Mackie can be expanded.

I'm using the mpc2k as my mpd24 for now. And I just got the triton back from born erahs crib cause it wasnt being used, he raps
and I just finished putting together my DAW.
Im still installin sh!t.
I thought about it and I have the best of both worlds right now. I was also thinking about getting pro tools m powered. I know it wont be a PT HD system but I want to get more familiar with the industry standard software.
I have the audiophile on top of the pc because of the short firewire cable. It will be on top of my desk when I get the longer cable.
