saved my sample on the mpc..

im on a mac.. i have an external iomega drive connected to the G4. bought it used...

first problem is i cant get the damn zip drive to eject an old disk without unplugging it. it tells me that "the mpc disc cannot be removed because its in use.." any idea's?....

lastly, when i do give up, turn the drive off, eject the old disc and insert the new one 100 zipdisk in the iomega 250 drive connected to my computer, it doesnt read it.. do i have to somehow format it? the zip disk is a mac disc..

sorry...the transfer of samples to edit on my mac is super new to me...

im use to just messin with the mpc as a stand alone..

1. Your ZIP has to be formatted on the MAC (NOT MPC) with the Iomegaware utility available on the net.

2. When formatting use fat16/fat. When saving use ONLY 8 characters for the filename, ie. 12345678.123 - drumkick.wav.
