can i buy/install a CF reader on a 2k??

and where may i find one??

cuz i fixed mine needed some new wires....

BTW is there anyway i can do Time stretch on a 2k???

No internal atapi mcd for 2k.

No timestretch on 2k. That's one of the things that attracted people to the 2kxl.

so there is no way i can get a card reader on the 2k??

so the only way i can get sounds from my pc is get a CD-rom for my MPC, and burn CD's off my PC?

You can do it, just not an internal card reader, but an external card reader.

there is a way to built in a zip in the mpc2k, then there is also a way to built a card reader in it.

but it is not so simple like the xl. i want do it in next time.

and the next problem is, that it is hard to find a scsi card reader.

well i just got a MPC 2000 CD-ROM DRIVE NEW W/SCSI CABLE, just so i can get sound of my pc to a cd and sample them liek drums....

but for no i guess ill keep writing on tapes.

pt3r had a link on another site on how to make akai image cd's so that you can burn pc wav's onto cd and load them on 2k. Not even too long ago, it's a recent thread.

the problem is their 5 times the price of a normal one.... average $150 or more... THATS NUTS.. cheaper to get an HD...
