compact flash card

i have a san disk ultra II 1 gig card and for some reason it will not let me format it i used it with my sp 404 is there a way to re format the card or what can i do . also just got it today from GC for 550 plus tax

Wow, nice price.Yes you can format your memory card.......bottom of page 100 in the manual will explain the process in detail.

i tried that bbut for some reason when i put the card in it wont let me do anything the do it button dosent light up and if i press any of the buttons it dosent do anything any suggestions

Maybe format it to your PC, then reformat it to the Mpc.......I'm just throwing ideas out there.

Damn, im gaving that same problem. Hopefully somebody has an answer! I am getting close to thinking about selling this thing...
