see i knew it was a bug. even akai tried to convince me it was my HD ;-(:

"HDD Save trouble solution was carried out.

I corrected the bug out of which an error comes by SAVE.(It freezes at the time of new holder creation.)
Since the bug same also as "NEW FOLDER ERROR","DIRECTRY ERROR", "SYSTEM ERR", and "Wrong file"
at the time of LOAD had occurred owing to, it is also corrected.

In order to make this correction perfect, please format HDD by Version3.xx

An error may come also out of the memory card beyond 256M formatted with PC

well, they certainly haven't received much encouragement over here.

that's the same message we got when our saving problems were fixed (new folder, data error, wrong file, etc). i do NOT miss seeing that stuff happen. i actually had to make a folder of marred beat projects in which some of the data had been corrupted. what a pain in the ass.

pfff...song mode will not sync properly when slaved to mtc.

it's what apple put in the intel macs to ensure no one can run OSX on a pc. stands for 'Trusted Platform Module'.

unauthorized/umwanted OS installations/hacks....
fortunately, the akai guys didnt implement this..... JJOS is not the
perfect deal,but it´s better than the original one....

it's more to prevent the os being installed on anything other than apple hardware, so in this way my joke was inaccurate, as you are installing a new OS on Akai hardware, which apple allows anyway.

these TPM chips are actually frighteningly invasive, but that's another story.

you better ask jahrome about that.

I agree that the JJ OS is better than OS1.0b.

nope, but if two machines with similar hardware running os's joined at the hip demonstrate symptoms that are not just similar, but identical, i think the question of ownership applies only to those with a ruler in one hand and their...mpc in another

Similar machines...but not the same, no matter how much anyone wished otherwise. After you sell a few more tracks and spend more time in these forums, you will be ordering your MPC 2500. Why settle for less if you don't have to Its just a matter of time.

Sorry...I won't entertain you this time. I don't even care anymore. As long as my MPC 2500 works effectively with Nuendo 3 (soon to be Nuendo 4), I am good and happy. No more trouble shooting issues on the subject for anyone.

But my question to you is....when will you actually post something useful for other forum members? Also, if the JJ OS works great, why would you care to even mess with the Akai OS again? You do too much serious work to be messing around with a 'buggy' (as you claim) Akai OS.

The prob is with JJ's, i am not usin Akai's.
