Hi guys, sorry for this question but there are absolutely no stores around here that have a demo unit of the MPC 4000 for me to try out......sucks.
I have a MPC 3000 and find it dead easy to operate, sequence, put together a song using multiple sequences, ect.
The reason i want to switch to a 4000 is because of a few key features, and one they added with the newest OS.
First i love the fact that i can preview sounds off the 80 gig hard drive in real time with the push of a button while my beat is playing. That to me is a amazing feature for a MPC. I also like the fact that the sound is a bit cleaner, i can transfer sounds via USB, and i can change midi tracks in realtime while my beat is playing, ect, ect.
So i was wondering how easy is the MPC 4000 to operate compared to the MPC 3000? Im talking about the basics like sequencing, changing timing, putting together multiple sequences to create a full length song, ect?
Does the 4000 operate similar to the 2000xl? I had a 2000xl here to try and hated the way it operated compared to the 3000. I had to push a lot more buttons just to do the basic things i did on the 3000,ect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thx!
