MPD 16, reason, mac hook up help

ok, am i retarded? i thought when i ordered this it would be a simple set up. now i have it and i am trying to get it going for a travel beats rig and i cannot get reason to see the damn thing. i dragged the oms files in to the oms folder as well. looked in the midi prefs for reason and it is not there. it doesnt register in reason when i am bangin a pad. the mpd is definitely hooked up thru usb and is powered.

any help with others experienced with this would be great. thanks!

i am an idiot. for all those who want to know in the future, you must select the oms device as IAC bus 1 and then set your midi prefs to see that bus as well. now it works! see yall later, im goin travelin'.
