take time signature off on the mpc 1000?

turn quantize off

yo you can push buttons and see what happens.. you're not gonna kill it.. and there's also a manual. AND, everything is pretty much right in front of you on the mpc.. thats one of the beauties of it.. its alllll right thereeeee in front of you mann

Both Jimbo AND esk andwered your question, it was an ANSWER, maybe not what you want to hear but it was an ANSWER and they are both right. Turn Quantize off AND/or you could have read the manual already and found your own answer.
