erase internal memory

how i erase all internal memory ? because i have ony 16 for now and it says insufficient memory ...

Turn the auto load off.

or create an autoload that uses less than 16mb.

Hey Red,

Wasn't there a way to clear the internal flash memory?? I remember when I first got my 2500, I read something like that and I believe I ended up doing it...I'm not to clear on whether it was clearing the internal flash or just truning the autoload off . I searched the pdf manual and couldn't find anything on erasing the internal flash memory. Whatever it is that I did the end results are : everytime I turn my 2500 on it starts up totally blank i.e no sequences , samples, or programs loaded. What I'm getting at here is I think this is what the thread starter is looking to do. I'm just not sure if it's clearing the internal memory or just a matter of turning the auto load off.

i was gonna say format but i jus realised u can only format the memory card.. i dunno if u can do this

You can write to the internal rom. I think it's 5mb? You have to create a project or something. You then erase the rom and write the while thing. I'm pretty sure it's in the manual. I found it page 111 in manual.
