THE MIDI controller keyboard for a beginner

I'm just getting started producing and I wanna get a good keyboard for my 2000xl but I know I can only really afford one for less than £60/$105.

Any advice on a cheap keyboard that'll do the job right last me a while?
What keyboards did ya'll startout with?

Preferably, I want one with a pitch & mod wheel, a good amount of keys (37+) and maybe a few sounds built in (although I've heard most of the cheap models have shit sounds).

Help would be much appreciated.

That AXIOM does look the shit, but I'm a student and it's gonna be about 8 mnths before I can afford that. I'll be looking out for it then.

go to the M-audio website and look at there midi controllers and then look them up on ebay. You can PM or IM me if you find anything on ebay that you're interested in buying. I will do the research for you to make sure you dont get scammed.

actually i had one of these and their pretty cheaply made..

i sold that shht real quick!! was not feeling it.. the pads are hard as hell, just like on the trigger finger.. poor response.

not alot of keys, but super easy to use.

the keys feel good.

and midi controllers don't usually have preset sounds in them.

the funniest shht is i bought that novation to replace my axiom....

are you playing two handed?

because all you have to do is hit the up or down on octave button and it brings the sounds up or down.

Yea I would be playing 2 handed but I guess the octave button wouldn't be all that constraining.
