scsi zip drive(100meg) or cd external drive for my 2kxl?

about to purchase one of the following for my mpc 2000xl...which 1 is
prefferd?external scsi cd drive or the old skool scsi zip drive........please help as i do not want to make the wrong decision....

Why not go for an card reader? Zip drives usually will bring you trouble. If you get an CD Drive then u will NOT be able to SAVE only LOAD so u will be stuck with saving to floppies if thats what u already have installed in the XL. Go for a card reader is my suggestion.

hi i havent herd of a card reader before is it for the 2kxl?and what if the cd rom is also a cd burner does it make a difference with saving?

An MPC can NOT save data on a CD-BURNER, not even a SCSI one. Forget the Zip drive get a cf reader, this forum has been flooded with card reader threads. Do a search on CF + reader and you'll find threads galore.
