Loading folders???

I have recently got my hands on an MPC2000XL-MCD.

I have transferred most of my .wav samples to compact flash with no problems but was wondering if there is any way of loading a whole folder instead of loading samples individually.

If not, is there an MPC that can load folders or more than one sample at a time.

the best way to do it is when ur working on any project and then u want to end it or turn the mp off, save all into a pgm, then put ur seq and pgm into a folder and title the folder in a manor in wich u will recognize it..... that way whenever u want to load up a folder, just load the pgm with ur seq..... i think LAMP explained this one a while back and its how i been doin it ever since... i dont use the pc at all in my production so i dont use the pgm editor....

Thanx for your replys guys, I will try the MPC Editor, but I forgot to mention that I transfered my samples from a PC.

The main reason I got the MPC was to get away from the computer. So far its done exactly what I wanted, and have had no problems getting used to it apart from the fact that I have a large sample collection and find it rather tedious to load one sample at a time.

I guess I could make my programs on the pc first using the editor, but then that goes aginst the whole reason I got the MPC in the first place. Also it puts me back to square one when im not around a computer.

When I'm working on the MPC I assign the sounds to make 4 programs, I then use those sounds to create a few sequences and when I want to save, I create a folder. Then I save all programs and sounds(aps.) and also save all sequences and songs(all.)Label your aps. and all. files the same name as your folder. Then when you open your folder you will only have aps. data and midi all. data to chose from. Loading up the aps. will make the mpc load all 4 of the saved programs and sounds and then load your midi all. data to get your sequences then play away.
