Burning To CD-Drive Vs. Tracking

I'm sure tracking a beat out is the better way, but if you have the CD drive installed, how well does burning each track separately and then transferring to your PC work so you can mix? I'm just wondering because I loose some quality when I track my beats into my PC. When you burn each track, do they sound just like it does in the MPC? Anyone use this method?

That's the long and hard way to do that. If you have a computer, why no go directly from the MPC to the computer. You already have the program to mix.. you have in input jack on your soundcard, and you have the outputs on the mpc.

Your doing the same thing, but it's taking you longer.. and I don't think the quality would be better... your moving the audio around too much. It can't get much better than sending it directly to the source.

If you are losing sound quality, then you may need a better sound card. If you are using the MPCs digital outs, you should be good for the most part.

But if you must import MPC wav files into your computer, it shouldn't effect sound quality.
