Whats really good with this thing????

I was doing some research on that infamous mpc card reader site, and i noticed that addonics card reader was among the card readers compatible with my AKAI MPC 2000XL........

So i searched on compusa to see if i could just pick one up at the store, but i only found this....

I just ordered it, but after reading on some threads on addonic card readers, iits a toss up. Some people have issues with the screen, some say it doesnt even work.......

Does anyone know for a fact if this works, or for the people it didnt work didnt install it right????

then cancel your order and buy a microtech cardreader...that one works for sure

That is not going to work I would cancel and get your money back.

look for this type of cardreader if you need an ide/atapi cardreader ; IISDMC2

I found them for 33 euro in germany but also seen them go for 28 euros on other german sites (oke, that might not be of use to you). If its a 2kxl you want to upgrade then go for the microtech pcd-47b or PCD-15b, im using both and are functioning as they should.
