my 2000 wont read wav files (OS 1.72)

when i try to load wavs from my floppy disk to the mpc it says "Unknown file format"... i have the 1.72 operating system... anyone know whats wrong? I chop something up from Adobe Audition and save it as a wav from there... help please

Make sure its 16bit at 44.1khz.

What u can try is open those files up in Audacity and then re save them as .wav files from there. I use to have to do dat when my 2k wouldnt read certain files.

ah i see its at 48khz.... how do i change it? i downloaded Audacity im lookin around dont seem to see it
