ZIP DRIVE

hey, i got the usb zip drive and i have an internal one in the mpc as per your guidance (mpc forum) what I am finding is the pc will not read a zip with mpc data and the mpc will not read the zip with pc data. I want to xfer the data off the beatmaking for the mpc tutorials and I cant please assist.

what os is your mpc running ?

would i need 1.14 MPC2000XL OS OS Version 1.20
192kb OS V1.20 for the MPC2000XL MCD drives only
OS Version 1.14 220kb OS V1.14 for the MPC2000XL with zip and floppy

Since you rock the 1.14 os you must format the zips on your computer.

ahh balls ive formatted them on the MPC!! I have tried to format them on the puter but it dont like the zip disc thats mpc formatted. strange huh? any better os fot the mpc that will work

a friend says "You would need a zip drive on your computer. You may also need translation software to move 2000 sounds to your computer., " what software may this be? as I heve sound forge, anything else I may need?
