Let me know if I'm misunderstanding you, but I while I agree the keyboard sounds won't be stored and played from the MIDI track on the MPC, the 1k can still do what Abu asked:
Use the keyboard to play a bassline, time correct the notes, and save the result on the MPC.
Although you can't hear the audio input from the keyboard immediately on the MPC, you can connect the output of the keyboard to the record ins of the 1k. Then press play on the MPC, enter record mode and monitor the incoming signal from the keyboard (which the MPC midi track is triggering). Record it, assign it to a pad, and playback in an actual track.
I know this works because I've tested it myself w/ my 1k.
