mpc 2000xl and sp1200 drums

sampling set up using sp1200 and mpc2000xl , does anyone have any tips on sampling drums using these machines , i have samppled in the sp then in the mp and layered , it banged but i just want to see how other people are using these together , does any one sample the mpc drums in the sp then back in the mpc , does that even do anything

nobody in here is rockin the sp1200 , somebody gotta have one and a mpc , holla at me with some drum tips
