??? Advantages of hookin up MPC to ure computer via MIDI ???

can u guys please tell me what the advantages are of hooking up my MPC2000 to my comp (i'm using a midisport 2x2)? can i use audio software like LOGIC, Nuendo, Cubase, Pro Tools, etc. to make my sequences easier, more efficiently, etc.?

You might want to sync two sequencers together. Computers are better in terms of more quantizization features and step writing(depends on brand of sequencer though).

Midi is a lot easier to edit in VST or Logic, plus u've got the advantage of having a monitor to look at things in more detail.
