Is there a way to apply timing correction to just one track?

For example, I wanna shift time for track 2 (snares) but leave track 1 (kicks) as is, how do I do this? Is there a way? I don't want to shift time for both tracks and that's what seems to be happening.

it shouldn't apply it to both, TC is track specific.

however, i'd suggest putting both kick and snare (even all drums) on one track. the tc can still be applied to certain elements by selecting which pad you want to apply the tc to.

Why putting them all on one track ? it is definitely easier, at least for me to have them all separate, at least while writting,changing ideass, editing. I do sometimes merge to evoid too many tracks to scroll. Any other reasons for merging?

if you've got your stuff merged, you can view it better in 16 pad grid edit. you don't have to flicker in between tracks to change a note of a different drum sample.

to me, making each drum sample hit on a different track is like writing a sentence on three sheets of paper, putting nouns, verbs and adjectives on the different pages.

i'm ok with your point of view but if you want to use different programs for your drums...

it's better to do your way and please don't format your way of working...you'll get bored...
