weird, i'm having the exact same problem...are you using jj's paypal os?

EDIT: Just upgraded to the new version, 4.20 (which has Q-Link grid edit!!!)
Fixed the problem.

maybe the RAM memory is the reason, i have only 16 of them, maybe when ill get 128 it will be ok??

That won't help, i've got 128MB over here....
Mine actually started working this morning when I turned it on. *cross my fingers it stays that way!*

128MB makes a world of difference if you take big samples :lol:

im having this problem too. jus installed the new 4.20D was happening also on 4.15. anyone have any idea on what could be causing this? its kinda holdin me back. cheers

I changed the MODE + MIDI/SYNC -> SOFT THRU: AS TRACK to OFF and it worked much better. Still has problem putting together multiple tracks...so weird, but it works a bit better.

Hey, at least your guys's MPC doesn't explode, like mine does every five minutes....

I think this might be about voices. There are only 32 mono voices at ANY time.so thats a max of 16 stereo sounds at a time.

I don't think that's the issue...it's probably just a setting somewhere in the new OS. Any veterans got any suggestions? I've noticed this problem usually occurs when there are more than 3 programs running.
