Got damn this is a dope record

I have heard the name Bob James a few times but never stumbled upon any of his work until today. Call me a rookie but damn this record is legit. Best doller bin joint I've gotten in a hot minute.

No doubt, bob is the man.
Bob also produced i believe 2 albums for the Allan Harris Band.
Forgot the name of the 2 albums, but the one that stands out the most came out in 75' i believe and it has an ocean on its cover with a picture of the group on the back, downin' some liquor in some backwoods bar.
Very good BJ productions if you can come across any of them.
But yeah....either for listening or sampling, bob always delivers with the goods.

I got his three album.
On another note, I've never claimed to be a serious digger. I go out and get records on a weekly basis, and for a long time I wasn't sure what I was looking for as far a jazz, soul music. My parents raised me up on Black Sabbath, ACDC, ect.

Understood but diggin is not about getting any certain genre of records. There are breaks even in the stuff you were raised on (AC DC - Back In Black, Black Sabbath - Behind The Wall Of Sleep). I got kiddie records, japanese/french/german records where I don't know what the hell they're saying, soul, rock, etc, but the beats are dope. So experiment.

Yeah I definatley do dig all genre's. I picked up a handfull of records yesterday, including one nasty Japanese record that is getting disected for sure. It's called Sounds of The Kabuki. I've been picking up about 10- 20 records a week to dig through for sounds for the last year and a 1/2. A lot of times I go off my intuition, but lately I've been using my expierience to grab some nasties.

BJ 3 man....winchester lady is dope definetly a classic there.
yeah alot of the records your parent grew you up on ,i keep tellin you kids this man .listen to your folks records they have some shi+ that you have been listening to for years. you just didnt know it.
