SD card in cardreader?

I just went to the store to pick up my PC Card CF adaptor.

But then I saw they also have a PC Card > SD adaptor...


would this also work?

SD to PC-Card adapter ... Wouldn't bother ...

Stick with the CF cards ...

CF works fine but I'm curious....CF seems a bit more fragile to me, I don't know, SD seems more secure....

CF has been around a long time and has been a reliable solution in products to do with industrial automation, data loggers, in flight "black box" recording solutions and more.

In my territory CF is a cheap and reliable solutiton.

SD ? SD came out before the PCD25 CF/PC-CARD readers did.

The SD<>CF adapter may work fine.

I'm not saying the adapter won't work.

Just that for many people CF, given it's price, availability and performance is the more logical option.

Good luck with your attempts and by all mean report failures or otherwise to this list.

Chief is a good dude! So much so, I felt like I owed it to him to tell you guys that his card readers are 100% legit!

I got my drive installed and I will never go back to zip! He shipped it super quick and it came in brand new condition. He put his neck out for us by buying a big batch of these, don't miss out!

I liked mine so much I put in an order for another. I'm gonna use Rohan's os update to copy scsi hard disks and finally have thorough back-ups of all my shit!!!! Yeah, what an amazing christmas present. The best part about the card reader is that it's dead silent.
