Hey what's up everybody?

I received my mpc 1000 2 days ago  , but it seems when i play the pads i'm off key. All the settings are basic, 50 % swing, quantize 1/16 note.
Can someone help me? Is there a setting that i should do or something?

Peace,

Dano

its probably because your 1000 is new, therefore the pads are rather stiff.
My 2000XL was like that until i wore the pads in quite a bit from normal usage....now everythings just fine, the pads respond with 100% accuracy.
