YO Y DO ALL THE OTHER MPC USERS HATE THE MPC 1000?

CAN YA'LL LET ME KNOW IS IT THE PAD PROBLEMS?

the only reason i can think of is maby people feel it is the begining of the downfall of akai. cheap cheap CHEAP MOTHAFUKA!!!!! very cheaply made, if u ever **** with any akai product older than the 1000 , then u will see it is a lot more rugged than the 1000. but i dont care the 1000 is ill , But if it ever betrays my trust and breaks when it shouldn't may God have mercy on akai's soul.

I REALLY LIKED THE FEEL OF IT AND EVERTHING STILL MY FAV MPC OF THEM ALL BUT CRIB GOT BROKEN INTO THE SHIT WAS GONE THE SADDEST DAY OF MY LIFE. FINNALLY SAVED UP GOT THE 1000 AND I LIKE IT. I'M HAVEN PROBLEMS SAMPLING AND RECORDING INTO THE CPU CUZ THE SHIT SOUNDS SCRATCHY ANY ADVICE? I THINK I NEED AN AUDIO INTERFACE.

Check your cables, connection, and source! i had some cheap cables and i would have to wiggle and contort them to get rid of unwanted noise

Also, try turning the record input level down - if your signal going in is too loud, then you'll get clipping when you sample. This could be the 'scratchy' sound you're describing.

Ain't nothing wrong with the 1000....I just dropped a hard drive in mines.....and it ain't to be fukkked'wit.....stick it in my Jordan XVI hard case shoebox...and I'm on the move.......fukka 500 lol....

I don't think other MPC users hate it. I think its a good MPC to buy for anyone that hasn't used one before...as well as the MPC 500. However, it will never be a serious option to replace my MPC 2500 or 3000. In fact, I would go with an MPC 2000 or 2000XL as my main MPCs before the 1000. Personally, I just like having a larger sized MPC.

Personally i love the 1000 , but am looking to get a 60. The 1000 is a kick ass machine , it all depends on the way you work your beats.

again just a suggestion.

Cuz its like 50% claim to never had a problem with their 1000's and the other 50% are like the pads are jacked within a few months.

If the 2000 is outdated, then you might as well call the 2000XL outdated because they are very similar. The MPC 3000 can be looked at as outdated when compared to the XL.

nah, this is not the case. they were just poorly designed. i have no idea why some people's pads still work, but i'd say most of them will be dead in a year.
