im gonna be honest, im a straight up newbie when it comes to most basic 2KXL operations. Although i've had mine for 3 years now, i've only been really learning how to use it for maybe a year now..off and on.
Like i stated before that was mainly because my main sampler of choice had always been my Korg ES-1.
But now im ready to learn and master something new, so here i am with the 2KXL.
I bought mine with a built in zip drive. Already i know that zips cost more than your standard floppys. Again i really have no problem using either, although i understand that zip's are a better data saving medium, but cost way more.
My question is, can I use 3.5 floppies in my 2KXL's zip drive?

no, you cant...they are both different..

google zip disk and compare the picture of it with a regular floppy disk..

id advise not to use either because neither are as reliable as an internal card reader.. for more information on this, search the forums, as it has been covered MANY times..

No doubt, simple answer is that you should check out the physical size of the both disks and/or slots on each device and that would have been that, simple. lmbao.

Oh, ok, I got you, I see.

My question is, can I use 3.5 floppies in my 2KXL's zip drive?

Nope. lmao.

I think the reason why some cats (me included) don't give a straight answer is because in our opinion just giving an answer most of the time is not really helping the questioner to actually appreciate the answer. ie. I try to help with the direction that leads to an answer but not just "give" an answer.

Some stuff yeah, it's too deep to advise a direction to follow but smsot stuff that I see asked, can be answered with a forum search, internet search, simple and small research.

Again, IE. You can give someone a car and they will love it, but when you help them to earn it on their own, they will take better care of it and appreciate the value of it alot more...imho

thats deep....i guess you could look at it that way.
haha
Aint really got time for mind games though, so cutting to the chase would be a better thing IMO.
But whatever, do your thing...aint no love lost
