filter , layer , decay and attact dont work

ok so everytime i try to put filter , layer , decay or attack on the 16 pads it just doesnt do anything

and with the slider its just the same altough its weirder i put filter on and it filtered it and then i went to main menu and it didnt do anything anymore and after that it just didnt work at all anymore :s im getting sick of this i cant finish my track cuz i need to use it

well for in 16 levels i press 16 pad and then i select the type and then press turn on but then nothing happens , only tune works

and with the slider i press mode , slider then press a padd and chose what parameter and egain nothing happens only volume and tune works

well as far as 16 levels go the only thing i know to do is hit 16 levels, press the pad that you want to change, and then select the parameter that you want to change. Turn on.

if that isn't working then i don't know what to tell you.


for the slider, if you want the slider to adjust the filter you need to set up your filter in program mode first. Then you need to record the slider changes while you are recording the samples in. Or you can use the AFTER button.

it should work instantly with attack, volume and tune. but if you already recorded the sample in you will need to use the AFTER button.

basically read the part in the manual about the slider. it is pretty straightforward.

hey thx ! the 16 pad thing works when you first put a filter on it in program mode didnt know that , i need to figure out the slider more didnt realy check that out yet

the slider is a very powerful tool.

i have been really messing with it alot more lately. i like to use it to play with the attack on my hats.

along with having realtime filter adjustment.

but what i dont understand is how can you use 2 sliders on 1 pad ? like one for volume and the other for filter

page 44 of manual goes over exactly how to set the sliders.

have you read all that yet?
