Proteus 2500 vs. 2000

Any Proteus 2500 owners out there.

How does it compare to the 2000?

More features of course, but give some details.

I am really trying to find out what the heck all
those knobs on the front for.

You must be able to customize the heck out some
voices on that thing.

Let me know the deal.

i'm lookn at the 2500 pretty hard.

personally i'm not even looking at the 2000 when it comes to $99 difference!

the literature rates the 2500 as "4 times faster" as the 2000 in processing speed...

i had the 2500 but sold it before i ever really realized its potential. i wish i still had it but i copped the korg ms2000 recently instead. the 2500 would definitely be the way to go over the proteus 2000. same sound bank but more knobs at your disposal. i remember most of the knob functions and now that i have learned what they all mean i wish i still had the thing cuz you can tweak the hell out of them. plus it has several voices, which is lacking in the ms2000 and i miss that about the 2500. cop it!
